Description
Management of key performance indicators- Meet Quality standards to specification

  • Achieve plan attainment
  • No rework/ downgrades/ W.I.P.
  • Continuous Improvement of productivity and efficiency
  • Control of waste
  • Take necessary action to improve performance and avoid any downtime in the production process by monitoring status of machines and working methods
  • Challenge and resolve issues to install sustainable improvements
  • Carry out various quality and production checks and documentation, including but not limited to: label checks, metal detector checks, weight checks, machine startup checks, traceability, mass balance and temperature
  • Drive and manage the performance of your team by developing and training them on Standard Operating Practices and Best Practice
  • Liaise with other departments, where necessary, for example Engineering, Planning and Quality to communicate any issues affecting the production plan
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Hygiene Standards
  • Manage any product or packaging changes on the lines
  • Oversee the team breaks and attendance and liaise with Production Manager on how to manage accordingly
