We have an exciting new opportunity for a Trainee Therapist to join our team If you're passionate about delivering values driven behaviour and education programs, this could be the role for you All programs have behaviour analysis at the core, as well as a strong PBS framework, and incorporate education research, parenting research and attachment theory.

main duties:
- deliver 1-1 play based therapy 2 after-school sessions a week (at the clients home)
- work 1-1 with a girl with autism to improve her communication, listening, play skills, behaviour, etc. (future targets will also include academic support)
- run therapy alone, using initiative and, keeping resources organised
- work closely with parents and school staff
- receive regular support and training from the Supervisor and Consultant

Essential:
You must have previous experience working with children

You must be reliable and committed

You must have excellent communication skills

you must have right to work in the uk

you must have a clean dbs

You must have experience with ASD/special needs/learning disibility AND behaviours of concern

Desirable

1. you may have availability to work with additional children in future

You may have use of a car, for ease of getting to clients

Part-time

Part-time hours: 4-6 per week

Salary:
£10.00-£15.00 per hour
