Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a patient and self-motivated Teaching Assistant to work with a small year 2 class in a dynamic primary school in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

The head teacher is excited to welcome a new member to the team, and integrate theminto the thriving school culture.

This primary school is central to public transport links, and there is parking nearby.


This school supports all staff and students to succeed, and all work collaboratively to ensure a fun and safe environment.

**Role responsibilities include: - Assisting the Teacher with classroom activities to encourage learning

  • Creating a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Work with small group to provide support
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities when necessary, including attending school trips and lunch time supervision
  • Assisting with classroom preparation
  • Encourage socialisation amongst pupils
  • Developing trusting relationships with the pupils
  • Manage behaviour effectively
**Vetting essentials: - Enhanced child only DBS, placed on the update service

  • Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
  • Requirement in Wales
  • 2 x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK

_Teaching Personnel can assist with the acquisition of a DBS, placing this on the update service and registering with the EWC_
