Description

Established Engineers Merchant requires a Stores Person for their busy Warehouse in Bootle Merseyside.

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, your role will involve goods receipt, picking and dispatch as well as general housekeeping.

However you will be expected to undertake all functions within the warehouse as operational needs demand.

You will be responsible for the accurate receipt, picking and dispatch of stock within the warehouse along with general warehouse management, stock rotation, stock accuracy, health and safety and general housekeeping.

The role will involve the manual handling of heavy items.

You will be a presentable, reliable, organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with good communication skills and be capable of working accurately to tight deadlines.

Previous experience in a warehouse is desirable along with a good level of computer literacy, however full training will be given on our systems.

Hours 8:00am - 5:00pm Mon - Thurs 8:00am - 16:30pm Friday, with 45mins unpaid lunch.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£20,660.00 per year
