Teaching assistant Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Teaching assistant students
  • Assess students' progress and provide timely and constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and motivated to learn
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress
  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction to Teaching assistant students, promoting active participation and academic growth
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles

Teaching assistant Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a primary school, preferably with experience in Teaching assistant
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and commitment to inspiring and motivating students
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
