We provide support to adults aged 18-65 years old who have Learning Difficulties, Mental Health, Physical Disabilities, Autism and many more.

The Ark Centre is based in the Acocks Green Area and provides support to citizens all over the Birmingham Area, where you will pick up and drop them off.

A brief summary of the tasks involved will include:

You will drive all vehicles under the fleet insurance organisations, currently the organisation has a minibus and smaller vehicles.
Driver to be compliant with the Highway Code.
You will pick up citizens in the morning from either their home or respite and bring them to The Ark Centre and drop them off in the evening from The Ark Centre to their home or respite. You may need to assist citizens with getting on and off the vehicles.
As the Driver you are required to ensure the safety and comfort of the citizens you are providing transport services for.
Complete all required documentation daily and handed to the office at the end of each week, this includes ensuring the vehicles are clean inside and out.
A valid driver's license and D
A full clean driving record
Availability to occasionally work weekends

Full-time hours: will vary from 8am till 11am and 2:30pm till 5:30pm

Salary:
£10.62 per hour

Day Range:
Monday to Sunday

No bank holidays

Centre closed at Christmas
