We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to partner with operational managers to provide financial/business support to increase profitability and improve processes, while protecting the company's assets and ensuring internal controls are maintained.
Responsibilities
Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with senior managers and their teams
Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial people
To perform a business partner role to operational management and be an integral part of their management team (this will incorporate regular visits to site)
Review and assist with commercial business tenders
Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, to an agreed timescale
Provide detailed insight into variances
Liaise closely with operational management
Prepare and present to all levels of the business.
Coordinate the budget/forecasting process in line with the company's deadlines and procedures
Offer professional judgement on financial matters to sites and advising on ways to improve business performance
Appraise capital projects for financial viability and return on investment
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain controls/accuracy of financial systems
Preparation of year end audit information as required
Support financial department in central reports and requirements across the group as required
Qualifications and experience
Qualified CIMA/ACCA (2 years+ PQE)
Production of full, annotated monthly management accounts
Full Clean driving licence (travel to sites will be a requirement)
Use of business accounting systems
Experience of producing financial models
Experience of using Cognos TM1/data warehousing is desirable
Logistics/ supply chain experience is desirable
