MRI Superintendent Radiographer Job Summary:

• Lead a team of diagnostic imaging staff

Responsibilities:

1. To adhere to and promote MRI safety in the MRI environment.
2. To perform imaging examinations with top quality patient care demonstrating awareness of responsibility to and advocacy for patients.
3. To perform a wide variety of MRI examinations including but not limited to cardiac MSK Gynaecological GI Neurological Urological Breast Ear Nose Throat ENT whole body Imaging training will be provided if required.
4. To administer drugs and contrast agents in line with Patient Group Directions PGDs local protocols policies.
•
Liaise closely with Consultant Radiologists/Cardiologists colleagues within multi-disciplinary teams evaluate clinical quality images produced make appropriate protocol adjustments/recommendations maximise clinical accuracy imaging reports.
