Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Bristol (Hybrid)

£50,000 - £60,000

A new Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer position has become available within an enterprise business in Bristol. Working within the IT Operations team is pivotal in supporting and delivering the organisations cloud infrastructure.

As a Senior Cloud InfrastructureEngineer, you will be involved in key business Projects, designs & implementation along with BAU support for a multi cloud environment (AZURE & AWS).

As well as furthering their continual drive for improvement and maturity in DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud Adoptionand automation practices.

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure manager, this is a hands-on role in an extremely high performing team, covering a range of Cloud infrastructure technologies.

Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer experience required:

Experience within a 3rd line IT infrastructure support/project team
Experience of working within a Cloud environment (AWS OR Azure)
Handson technical expertise in Cloud, CI/CD & automation
Experience in some of the following technologies; Azure DevOps, AKS, PowerShell, Python, LogicMonitor, VMware, Veeam, Office 36
Experience of scripting and Automation through IaaS/PaaS/IaC pipelines.
Experience in configuration management tooling, such as Terraform/Ansible.
Experience of working within an Agile framework/team.
Insatiable appetite for learning new platforms, scripting and automation technologies.
Design and support experience of at least 3 of the following vendors' products; Microsoft, RedHat, VMware, PaloAlto, SQL,& O365 Exchange, Veeam, Patching Solutions, Nimble or similar storage solutions, Infrastructure Hardware Experience.
Exceptional communication skills and customer focus.

The business operates in a hybrid working model where you will be expected to be onsite 2/3 days per week.
