Description
I am recruiting for a Software Engineer for my client in Reading, Berkshire on a permanent basis.

This role can be performed either remotely or hybrid. However if you're remote you will be required to travel to office 1-2 times per month. If you want to work full-time in office or hybrid working that is also fine. My clients are based just 5 minutesfrom junction 11 M4.


Required experience:
Proficient in full-stack /.NET development for web/desktop development using C# and/or VB.Net

Demonstrable experience in working with MS SQL Server including creation and modification of Stored Procedures, Functions and Views.

  • Working Experience working with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and Entity Framework
  • Understanding of objectoriented programming concepts and clientserver software architecture.
  • Use of source control systems, e.g. Git, Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Agile development methodology and working within a fully functioning scrum team

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • MS Access and VBA development experience
  • Any exposure to mobile development, preferably using a crossplatform environment such as Xamarin.
  • Experience working with HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery and Bootstrap
