The Opportunity
The primary purpose of JLR Event Vehicle Operations is to prepare and maintain fleets of vehicles to the highest possible standards both dynamically & aesthetically for a broad range of business requirements.
These range from a single vehicle for a motoring journalist or other VIP's, through to fleets of up to 200 vehicles to support launch events or other significant marketing needs.
The workshop is also responsible for discharging all vehicle preparations for Show/Photo and Press events.Key Performance Indicators
- Site parking capacity
- Incoming quality checks completed.
- Warranty claims processed verses outstanding.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Assist in the supervision of the Compound Team to provide the Event Vehicle Operations with the effective distribution and movement of vehicles within site in a timely manner.
- Lead for compound day audit.
- Be the EVO Warranty lead.
- Set and report out effective KPIs and status data for warranty and fleet operations.
- Achieve workshop SLA for vehicle moves.
- Ensure local parking rules are maintained and escalated noncompliances for resolutions.
- Ensure inbound and outbound vehicle dispatch activity meets EVO targets.
- Provide support to the Yard Fleet Operations teams to meet Yard operation KPI targets.
- Ensure robust data capturing and reporting for Yard operations.
- Ensure accurate compliance to JLR policies and procedures.
- Where required provide relevant training to others in supporting the role.
- Support Transport team operations when required.
- Be a lead for team's Wellbeing and Health and Safety
- Ensure team complies with Health and Safety legislation and JLR policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- An individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent, and dependable.
- Previous experience leading a team.
- Good analytical skills and statistical ability
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with mínimal supervision.
- Computer literate with good understanding of Microsoft packages (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Transport legislation and driver's hours rule (training available)
- Full Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Previous experience in JLR internal systems (WASP/Traka/DMS/D42/Salesforce/FMS)
- HGV Licence with uptodate DCPC.
- Transport Manager CPC
