Altum Consulting is proud to be partnering with a brilliant charity that supports refugees holistically, helping them settle within the UK and supporting them to build fulfilling and rewarding lives in their new home country.

The organisation requires aCommercial Analyst to join its high-performing finance function on an initial one year fixed-term contract, and support the organisation in securing bids that will allow it to assist increasing numbers of vulnerable people.

The role will pay up to £52,000per annum.

As the Commercial Analyst your role will involve:

Working closely with the fundraising team to produce Excel models in support of bids for grant-funding
Understanding contracts including the nature of the funding whether contract or grant, restricted or unrestricted and treating appropriately
Informing colleagues on the nuances of different grantfunded projects from a finance perspective
Market analysis including how other similar organisations are pricing their services
Building structures for future grantfunding
Historical analysis of income and expenditure
Be studying towards or have obtained an accounting qualification
Have strong Excel modelling skills
Have prior experience of working with restricted and/or unrestricted income
Have a passion for humanitarian causes
