This is an exciting opportunity to join the NHS Blood and Transplant Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) in a senior leadership role.

The UKCRC registered NHSBT CTU delivers a growing, high quality, late phase, multi-centre clinical trials programme, nationally and internationally.

Trials are conducted in NHSBTs therapeutic areas:
transfusion medicine, organ donation and transplantation, tissue and stem cell transplantation. By joining our passionate, innovative and energetic team, you will help to save and improve lives through research. The evidence we generate directly benefits patients through influencing clinical guidelines and practice in the NHS and beyond.

In this role you will provide oversight of operational activities for the CTU, including trial management, data management and quality assurance.

The role is vital in ensuring the effective development, conduct, management and delivery of the CTU trial programme, and in contributing to the strategy and growth of the CTU.
