The Role:


A full time role based out of our warehouse and office premises (The Workshop) in the beautiful countryside near Alresford, Hampshire.

Also on-site are teams from our roasting partner Moon Roast, The Yard Hampshire coffee shop and Chilton Manor Farm.

You will sit at the heart of our business, ensuring that operational activities run smoothly.

You will be responsible for the efficient delivery of freshly roasted coffee and other sundries to clients on a daily basis.

In addition, being exposed to a wide variety of business operations:

assisting the teams supplying and installing coffee equipment, helping facilitate coffee events, helping provide technical machine support and inclusion to information related to the company financial position Vs the business plan.


You will run The Workshop on a day to day basis, ensuring accurate deliveries to our clients, close liaison with our roasting partners and supporting the wider amamus team to undertake their roles more efficiently.

You will be well-supported by all members of our team, albeit often remotely.

Full training will be provided on all aspects of our operations as well as all requisite health and safety training.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock and inventory management at The Workshop


Effective stock monitoring of items such as coffee equipment, roasted coffee, green coffee beans, cleaning consumables and coffee packaging using our inventory management software package.

Regular and accurate physical checks for all stock items to ensure the digital information is always correct.
Cleaning coffee containers to meet our zero waste targets and ensure our roasting partner has an uninterrupted supply

Daily goods-in and goods-out
Receiving deliveries accurately, notifying the team and updating the software.
Packing and dispatching roasted coffee to our clients on a daily basis via courier or driver.

As the business grows you will be required to undertake some driving duties locally and into central London in our new electric van.

Scheduled coffee equipment maintenance


In time and with training there will be the opportunity to visit our client sites to help provide basic scheduled maintenance services such as water filter changes or machine de-scales.

Tracking and reporting
Monitoring and recording all waste movements for our B Corp requirements.
Managing a system that tracks and shares the numbers of containers sent to clients Vs those returned.
Creating and managing reporting systems for all aspects of our logistics operations including tracking mileage for efficiency.

Coordination with our roastery partners
Raising purchase-orders for roasted coffee in-line with the weekly client orders.

Continual improvement
Proactively look for ways to improve processes, finding efficiencies and seek new ways of improving our operational capability.
Each day striving to deliver better customer service for our clients.
Finding ways to improve support for other team members to undertake their roles more effectively.

  • Located within an easy commute (30 minutes) to Alresford

  • To be proficient in using computers with the natural ability to learn CRM, and stock management systems
  • Hold a full drivers' licence and daily access to own vehicle with insurance for company use. (Travel will be a significant part of the role and a company vehicle will usually be available but on occasion your personal vehicle may need to be used with costs reimbursed via expenses)
  • Confident to drive in and around central London
  • A love of coffee is not essential, but you'll be missing out

Salary & Benefits:

- £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience

  • Company Pension Scheme (3% company contribution; 5% employee contribution)
