The Role


As our
Student Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the University's commitment to its students' holistic wellbeing.

You'll deliver captivating initiatives, resources, and programmes that empower students to thrive throughout their academic journey. You'll be based within Residential Services, directly impacting the vibrant community of our
Intercollegiate Halls.

These halls offer a diverse and enriching home for students from across the University of London, with a thriving Residential Life programme.

But your impact extends beyond these walls This role plays a central role in shaping a
whole-University approach to health and wellbeing, contributing to our University Mental Health Charter implementation.

Make a significant difference in students' lives, both within the halls and across the broader University of London community.


Here's what you'll do:

Champion student engagement: Craft engaging health & wellbeing events, activities, and campaigns that resonate with students. Develop informative content across various channels, from websites to social media.

Be a change-maker: Drive the implementation of the University's student health & wellbeing plan, ensuring alignment with current issues and best practices.

Review and re-design: Coordinate a whole
  • University review in pursuit of the University Mental Health Charter, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Amplify student voices: Coordinate feedback mechanisms like surveys and focus groups to understand student needs and tailor interventions accordingly.

Empower others: Support the delivery of mental health & wellbeing training for staff, students, and volunteers, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills.

Stay ahead of the curve: Proactively stay informed about evolving trends and innovative practices in student wellbeing, sharing your insights with the team.


What we're looking for:


  • Passion for student wellbeing and experience working in a studentfacing role.
  • Proven ability to create engaging content that resonates with young audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation and communication tools.
  • A collaborative spirit and a commitment to making a difference.

Further information
The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office.

Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
