Adecco are currently recruiting for a
Data Protection Advisor to join a prestigious university based in Uxbridge.

Salary:
up to £300 per day

Duration:
ASAP - 3 months (high potential of being extended)

Working pattern:
Flexible for home working / hybrid

Contract type:
Temporary

Roles and responsibilities

This new role will be fast-paced and varied, involving liaison with colleagues across the University to inform, advise on and monitor compliance with Data Protection legislation in line with our formalised data protection strategy.

The post holder will be the main point of contact for all stages of Subject Access Requests and other rights-related processes.

You will provide advice and support on all data protection areas relevant to the Higher Education setting, from investigating suspected breaches to embedding data protection by design in new projects and services.

You will have a crucial role in helping colleagues understand their data protection obligations and ensuring that our teams understand and can comply with the Data Protection Principles.

Working with our Data Protection Champions who volunteer at department level to support the Data Protection team, you will be part of a forward thinking, agile team that ensures that University puts privacy at the heart of our use of personal data.
