Leicestershire Police are looking for a part-time employee to fill the position of Tape Summary Clerk within the Criminal Justice department.

This vacancy is for a 12-month fixed term contract.


As a Tape Summary Clerk, you will provide summarised accounts of recorded interviews that have been conducted with defendants, whilst in Police Custody and assist the team with other administrative duties as required.


We are looking for someone who thrives within a team environment and has good communication skills both verbal and written.

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
