A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic graduate, who may be considering a career in teaching, to join our highly successful Music department.

The Music Department Assistant will provide administrative support for both the Music and Speech and Drama Departments.

They will assist with classroom teaching, the running of extra-curricular activities, the provision of support for the planning and organisation of concerts, visits and tours and they will oversee the administration for Peripatetic Music lessons.


The core working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.30pm Friday, during the term time, which includes the complete week in which a term begins and ends.

Additional hours will be required on occasion to fully fulfil the needs of the role, for example, to provide support at music department events.

The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
