Norse Group have an exciting opportunity for a
Integration/Data Migrations Lead to join our specialist team based at our Head Office on Fifers Lane.
The role is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part of supporting Project One on the development of the data migration and integration of operational infrastructure to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The Role:
Project One has been established to achieve the transformation of the support services functions at Norse. The transformation has elements of technology, process, data, and people change.
The primary project stage is complete and therefore we require an Integrations and Data Migrations Lead, You'll be responsible for supporting the implementation of Dynamics 365.As Integrations and Data Migrations Lead, You'll be reporting directly into Technical Architect and supporting the wider Project One team with a number of technical duties.
- Working in collaboration with the Project One team to develop Norse Data migration strategy
- Resolving data issues and identifying potential risks
- Providing training on data migration and interfaces to the team ensuring effective knowledge transfer
- Developing and maintaining a plan for data migration and interfaces and report progress on a weekly basis to the D365 Project Manager.
- Data mapping, design, building and testing
- Experienced within SQL server integration services
- Experienced within data migration and integration through multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science / information technology field
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent commutation skills at all levels
- Full UK driving licence to meet travel requirements of the role
