Description

Community and Recovery Mental Health Services at West London are seeking to appoint a highly experienced, personable and credible Performance Lead to work with the Associate Director for Core Mental Health Improvement and Performance and the Clinical Director to oversee the effective and efficient running of core mental health services across Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith and Fulham.

The service line has a budget of approximately £25m and employs 400+ staff.

The post holder will be instrumental in the continuous improvement of performance reporting and management throughout services and will have specific responsibilities for developing, implementing and embedding performance management systems.

You will need a comprehensive knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Quality Improvement (QI) or Performance Improvement (PI) methodology, focussing on rigorous, systematic, organization-wide processes to achieve ongoing improvement in the quality of healthcare services and operations.

The post holder will need to focus on both outcomes and processes of care.

We are excited that we were selected as one of the 'early implementer' sites for integrated community mental health services by NHSE.

Our community mental health offer has now fully transformed and is centred around the Primary Care Networks and aspiring to comprehensive engagement with Integrated Care Systems using a whole person, whole population health approach.

The model will utilise all the community resources available including health, social care, VCSE organisations and local communities and consider resources to support wellbeing outside of mental health services alone.

They should have an excellent understanding of the new community framework for mental health services and the delivery of integrated primary and community mental health services.

West London NHS Trust is one of the most diverse providers of mental health, community and social care in the UK.

Our 3,982 staff care for people in hospital and in the community, helping them to recover and go on to lead full and productive lives.

We aim to be the best organisation of our kind in the country.

We provide care and treatment for more than 800,000 people living in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow, delivering services in the community (at home, in GP surgeries and care homes), hospital, specialist clinics and forensic (secure) units.

We're rated good overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Together, we're committed to promoting hope and wellbeing, working with patients, service users, carers, families and partners across the communities we serve.

We are keen to ensure that our workforce reflects the community it serves, particularly in terms of ethnicity, gender, disability, LGBTQ+ and experience of mental illness.

The portfolio will focus on the core community mental health integrated network (MINT) teams but will also offer support to services across the CARMHS Community Service Line.

Other services within this service line include Rehabilitation services, Eating disorders services, The Cassel hospital, Early intervention in psychosis services as well as Recovery colleges and Vocational support services.

Additional investment in 2020/21 has also developed EIP services to deliver first episode psychosis care to those up to the age of 65.

This is an exciting and challenging role and we are looking for an exceptional individual who shares our values, passions and ambitions and who can be highly influential across our organisation and the wider health and care system.

We are looking for individuals with excellent strategic, planning and implementation skills that can drive culture change to ensure maximum employee engagement, a culture of performance and a system committed to service user outcomes.

You must demonstrate a commitment to our Trust's visions and values, a culture of continuous improvement and to ensure the effective management and delivery of the service.

You will be an excellent team player and will be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute to and support wider portfolios.
