We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs Assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.


Position Overview:

As a Special Educational Needs Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs.

Your dedication and commitment will help our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work oneonone or in small groups with students with special educational needs.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet each student's unique requirements.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to students, helping them build confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom activities, including academic lessons, social interactions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Monitor and record student progress, communicating this information to the teaching and support staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school community.

Requirements:


  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications are a plus.
  • Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment. _
  • Provide an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one (which Pink Tile can assist with). _
