If so, Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Permanent position for a client based in Stevenage, who work in the Traffic Management sector.

Technical Support - Main Duties:


  • First point of contact for technical queries/issues, passing onto other team members
  • Accurately logging issues/queries onto database
  • Responsible for monitoring and distributing queries from the "support" inbox, resolving yourself where possible
  • Supporting with technical queries such as password reset
  • Creating, maintaining and organising Technical Instructions for customer use
  • Passing on Technical Instructions and Training Documents to customers
  • Completing server checks, identifying data faults and proactively updating the customer & maintenance teams
  • Occasional travel to sites to identify issues with Traffic Management hardware and relay to the support team

Technical Support - Key Skills & Experience:

  • Full UK Driving License and own car is essential
  • Interest in IT, Electronics or Technical Industry (either through studies or personal interest)
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Confident and polite telephone manner
  • Willingness to develop own knowledge
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
