About the role

Retail Talent Acquisition Partner

Permanent

£35,000 - £40,000 + Pension + BUPA + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + Hybrid Working (2 days per week in the office)

Southampton, Store Support Office

Key responsibilities

As a Retail Talent Acquisition Partner you'll:

  • Work with internal stakeholders (Hiring Managers and business leaders) to ensure recruitment is managed effectively and within service level agreements (SLA's)
  • Day to day line management of a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists that support stores with their volume recruitment, including but not limited to; sickness/absence, holiday approval and tracking, managing performance improvement, team effectiveness and conduct issues
  • Partner with external partnerships to compliment the sourcing and recruitment as required
  • Build specialist knowledge about the business area(s), roles recruiting for and the external market to help line managers shape vacancies
  • Identify the best sourcing and attraction channels for current and future vacancies within a specific business area.
  • Create talent pools for volume requirements and difficult to fill requirements in a specific business area(s)
  • Use insight and customer feedback to increase quality of hire
  • Schedule, conduct and document video or telephone interviews.
  • Ensure audit compliance of recruitment process in line with the recruitment policy
  • Support Talent Acquisition team colleagues as required through periods of high and low demand

Required skills & experience

  • Confident building strong stakeholder relationships using a consultative and collaborative approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full 360 cycle recruitment experience; delivering effective recruitment campaigns and solutions to meet business needs within agreed SLA's and timescales
  • Using insights, data, and expertise to educate stakeholders and inform decision making
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to follow and implement processes
  • Experience of direct recruitment methods, with strong social media sourcing expertise
  • Capable of working within a highly pressurised and fast paced environment
