Junior Office Admin Assistant

General Details

  • Permanent contract with a 3 month probationary period, 6 and 12 month review.
  • The role is intended to be full time (37 hours per week)
  • Officebased town centre location (Fareham PO16)
  • Friendly office environment
  • Mondays to Thursdays 08:3017:00; Fridays 08:30 to 15:15; Lunch break 45 minutes
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays holiday period runs from 1 July to 30 June

Job Overview/responsibilities
To work closely with/report to and assist the General Manager-Office and Customer Services, within the office for general sales/admin related work in a positive and organised manner and also assisting the Marketing & Communications Manager and Customer Services Advisor as and when needed/allocated by the General Manager-Office and Customer Services

  • Good keyboard/typing skills and English language
  • Confident with Microsoft Office 365/Word/Outlook
  • Good communication skills within a team
  • To learn and understand InterRegs client online subscription service
  • Learning inhouse databases for prospect and client input
  • To save enquiries electronically to files
  • To assist in trial registrations onto the company LACRM database
  • To assist in updating contact lists on the company LACRM database
  • To assist in inputting selectregs clients onto company LACRM database
  • To assist with some general/client enquiries and learn more to help when Customer Services Advisor is absent (with the support and supervision of the General Manager-Office and Customer Services)
  • To assist in placing translation orders and liaising with production team where necessary
  • Scanning and shredding (mínimal)
  • To ensure stationery cupboard and office canteen items are kept stocked up
  • To collect and sort incoming post and deliveries (mínimal); to sort any outgoing post (mínimal)

Pay:
From £22,500.00 per year
