The eHospital training team is responsible for ensuring that all staff at our hospitals' (Addenbrooke's and the Rosie) receive appropriate training and support in the use of our electronic patient record held on Epic.

Our vision for the future is one where technology supports the everyday work of doctors, nurses, technicians, managers and patients.

To succeed, this vision must be supported by a programme of training which equips staff to make the best use of technology in caring for our patients.

As our vision develops, new opportunities arise and we are now looking to recruit an eHospital Trainer to join the team.

Main duties of the job

Your role will include delivering training for new starters as well as supporting existing members of staff within our trust.

As Epic continues to evolve and change, you will be working closely with the eHospital Principal Trainers as they update and customise the training required based on system developments and clinical workflow impacts.

You will receive training and support to learn the aspects of the EPIC system which you will become proficient at training.

You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to engage and influence people at all levels and demonstrate a passion for education, teaching and learning.
