Freight Forwarder

Belfast

Salary - Open to discussion + Healthcare, life assurance and other additional benefits

Due to continued success, I am delighted to be working with a leading transport company who are seeking for a Freight Forwarder to join their successful team on permanent full time basis.

Reporting to the Ops Director you will.

  • Deal with transport and haulage companies
  • Handle enquiries with customers and suppliers
  • Carry out bookings on internal freight system
  • Complete paperwork associated with international freight forwarding
  • Communicate with internal warehousing to coordinate freight activities.
  • Provide quotations for customers
  • Manage the movement of freight in and out of the country, including arranging appropriate documentation
  • Communicate with the authorities
  • Monitor, record, analyse and reports on activities and trend
  • Other adhoc duties

About you
- +2 years experience of working within a Freight Forwarding or Transport role

  • Knowledge of Customs procedures
