We are hiring a Research and Project Officer responsible for identifying, developing, and delivering GC business growth projects and programs to expand our national reach.

This role is fixed-term to cover maternity leave until 27 June 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support planning, management, and implementation of strategic internal and external projects.
  • Maintain effective relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Develop significant business growth project packages.
  • Support Project and Operations Manager in managing workstreams and project delivery.
  • Stay informed about national policy and program developments.
  • Coordinate and support funding calls, bidding, and tendering.
  • Manage the business opportunities pipeline.
  • Prepare information, data, and reports for presentations and meetings.

About You:

  • Knowledge of business growth, skills, employment policies, and programs.
  • Technical expertise in public sector funding.
  • Understanding of customer and partner priorities, political agendas, and key players.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and adaptable.

Skills and experience required:

  • Analytical with a creative problem-solving approach.
  • Research abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle complex projects.
  • Good IT literacy, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in project or public sector program management.
  • Service delivery and policy development experience.
