Sales Administrator

Outskirts of Needham Market

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

£22,500-£23,500 per annum

Permanent

Main duties and responsibilities, (including but not limited to):

  • Answering Sales Phone calls and dealing with queries
  • Processing daily website orders
  • Sales based administration tasks assigned by the directors or senior management.
  • Updating customer price lists and quotations where required.
  • Processing automated orders from customer portals
  • Accompanying members of the sales team to meetings were required.
  • Working closely with the production and planning department to update internal forecasts where required under the supervision of the directors.

Key skills and attributes:

  • A confident individual with a willingness to learn.
  • A good ability to retain information quickly and recall it where needed.
  • Great phone manor and happy to talk to people.
  • Good mathematics skills
  • The ability to work methodically but also be happy to change direction quickly where required.
  • Good computer skills, previous experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Sage 50 Accounts is preferable, however full training will be required.
  • A good understanding of eCommerce and online selling (the basis of how buying and selling online works)
  • Trustworthy and Punctual
  • A sound understanding of the basics of business, profit margins and discounts.
  • Full, clean UK drivers' licence is preferable.
