Job Role - Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant

About the school and SEND Teaching Assistant role:

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide onetoone support to pupils with additional learning needs
Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons that are tailored to the individual needs of each pupil
Help to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils
Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
Support the classroom teacher in maintaining accurate records of pupil progress
Attend training and meetings as required

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Experience working with children with additional learning needs in a primary school setting is highly desirable
Right to Work in the UK
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient and compassionate approach to working with children
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
