Role Overview

The Liquor Collective is looking for a Payroll Assistant to join the Commercial team based in Nottingham.

The Payroll Assistant is responsible for assistance with the development & implementation of our payroll process & systems.

Due to being a fast growing start up we require a proactive employee to join the team to help create the blueprint for success for our fantastic employees.


Key Responsibilities and Activities
We are flexible on the days worked, with current business needs of around 2-3 days per week needed. More hours available during busy periods.


Role & Responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant:

  • Management of payroll processes in liaison with directors
  • Keep records of invoices in a neat filing system, ensuring compliant with tax requirements
  • Identify and address account discrepancies
  • Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)
  • Management of HR records and general admin

About You as the Bookkeeper/Payroll Assistant:

  • Ideally AAT qualified or working towards, QBE considered.
  • Experience using an Accounting Software such as Sage or Xero is essential
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ideally worked in a smallmedium business in a standalone finance role
  • Ability to talk to customers and suppliers to build good relationships

Salary:
Paid Hourly dependent on skills & experience

Part-time hours: 12-20 per week
