    Description

    Teaching Assistant

    We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Brantridge School.

    This is a 1 year fixed term contract, working 36 hours per week during term time only. The successful candidate will be required to work from September 2024.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to support students of varying abilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To provide general classroom support to teachers in the delivery of lessons and activities.
    • To assist with the supervision of students during break times and lunch periods.
    • To help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
    • Experience of working with children in an educational setting would be desirable.
    • An Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required for this role.
