Description

Operating for over 45 years, Access Community Trust is a multi-award-winning charity and provider of housing, youth services, health/wellbeing and employability services across Suffolk and Norfolk.

Our ambition is to deliver a service driven by passion and enthusiasm that reaches all vulnerable and socially excluded/isolated people without exception.

Since launching in the summer of 2020, established by Access Community Trust, The Pink Orange service has supplied thousands of household meal kits to those struggling with food poverty across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Our volunteers provide essential support to this service by packing orders of food parcels for people in need of food support.

This can be manual work in the Pink/Orange warehouse, which many find a great way of keeping fit and healthy as it's a physically active role.

Or, you could assist one of our drivers on a delivery route and possibly volunteer as a driver yourself.

All you will need is to have a commitment to supporting your community by helping with the challenge of food poverty and to be reasonably fit and able to manage some manual handling.

You will receive training in manual handling and this will provide an opportunity to gain some experience in a logistics focused working environment.

Access Community Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its young people and vulnerable adults using our services and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
