An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Business Support team in NELFT Barking & Dagenham Directorate as a Business Support Officer.

You will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a high quality and effective service supporting staff across the Barking and Dagenham Management Team.

The Business Support officer (BSO) will be required to Support the Business Manager in all operational aspects of business, financial, activity and performance management.


This will include supporting the monitoring and delivery of directorate KPIs, CQUINS and contracted performance targets and working with the directorate leadership team to take corrective action to address poor performance as necessary.

To work with the Integrated Care Director to embed a culture of performance management across health and social care as appropriate.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,108 and a maximum payment of £5,177 per annum pro rata).
