Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and thorough Credit Controller to join our clients thriving business.

Due to rapid growth the finance team is expanding which opens up an opportunity for an exciting finance role, in which you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of debtors, credit checking potential customers and making judgements on their financial stability.

You will be responsible for liaising with clients credit insurance providers and legal team to prevent bad debt. You will be responsible for accounting entries and bank reconciliation.

Using appropriate techniques and methods to understand needs; tailor your approach to provide suitable options and solutions to achieve commercial and customer targets in line with company values and expectations.

As part of a high performing team, you will be expected to:

Demonstrate excellent organisational skills in managing your customer portfolio.
Monitor our Customers overall exposure and ensure we have enough credit insurance
Build and maintain excellent communication skills to handle incoming customer requests, objections and be accountable for customer satisfaction
Run daily Direct Debit collections
Always adhere to the rules and regulations of the relevant regulatory bodies
Work on your own initiative to manage your own portfolio, calls backs and next steps in line with the current processes
Help us to improve processes by sharing ideas with your leader
Be confident in making decisions on if a company is credit worthy by analysing the financial statements and credit agency information
Carry out regular training when deemed appropriate and help others with their training needs where required
Maintain high standards of personal conduct at all times
Work well independently and have a positive impact when working as part of a team
