Job Introduction

BRUSH Transformers LTD is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative. The main duties relating to this role include, offloading / loading vehicles and reporting/recording any damages or defective items. There is an ongoing requirement to ensure warehouse areas are kept in a safe and tidy state.


The role also involves Using Fork Lift Trucks and overhead cranes, compiling contractual fabrication parts for shop floor reporting of any damage.

Distribution of parts around the site as required. Weighing copper and recording weights. Banding of empty reels.

Main Responsibilities

  • Offloading / loading of vehicles as required using fork lift trucks and overhead cranes.
  • Opening fabrication cases / pallets and unwrapping parts and assembling on plastic pallets.
  • Taking parts as requested into production related areas.
  • Weighing copper reels and advising weights prior to being stored / taken to the winding shop.
  • Supporting & delivering parts to shop & service department.
  • Raising Near misses and Safety Improvement opportunities and ensuring health and safety remains a focus for all activities.
  • Maintaining good standards of hygiene and housekeeping around all store's areas.
  • Ensure all data protection activities pertaining to current employees, customers, and all other external stakeholders, are done so in line with the company's data Protection Policy.
Person Specification

  • FLT counterbalance license.
  • I.T skills and experience of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and related processes.
  • Relevant experience of working in a production / manufacturing warehouse stores environment.
