An exciting opportunity has opened as the lead content creator for the Oceanology International Portfolio at the world's biggest exhibition company, RX.


We're looking for a talented and passionate content creator to work alongside a Marketing Manager, and a wider group of specialist marketing and PR teams, to create and deliver engaging omni-channel campaigns, globally.

Tasks will include copy writing, video production, social media management, design briefing, PR liaison, attending 3rd party events, and of course being on site when we run our Oi events.


You'll be right in the heart of the brand team and be managed by the marketing manager, with the advantage of having support from our Global Experts.

For example you could draw upon the expertise of our PPC team, design team, video, demand and, social media teams.

We work in a matrix structure so there is plenty of support to be had from other brands and your colleagues in the Content Community.


7/10s of the world is water, and only 20% of it has been researched, we know more about the moon than our own oceans.

So, there is a lot to talk as fresh discoveries are made.

Oi creates markets for ocean professionals to meet, learn, network and generate business in a number of sectors including aquaculture, ocean mining, ocean data, academic research, defence, and, energy.

Our events are at the top of their game and we need a person who is passionate about story telling, and can turn moments into stories.

If you' re a born storyteller, who can turn ideas into compelling content, write with personality and grab attention, we want to add you to the Oceanology International marketing team.

You'll join a creative, passionate team working to put content at the forefront of our campaigns.

You'll be responsible for content creation and curation for multiple channels, focused on delivering value for our customers and brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a series of social media accounts, owning the channel plans and creating and distributing the content accordingly making sure it's delivering against agreed tone of voice and house style and is measured against agreed engagement KPIs
  • Be a brand guardian produce on brand content which will ensure execution of creative, content led campaigns
  • Support an effective and efficient signoff process, by ensuring the right content is created and ready to be published at the right time, to agreed brief and quality
  • Active role in creating, repurposing and repositioning content, creating or curating one large concept / idea and building out to deliver consistency of campaign and message across multiple channels, both on and offline
  • Ability to create, edit and deliver engaging video content for social channels, introduce and champion 'moving image' as a key part of the content mix, driving engagement and measured returns

Skills:
You be developing marketing content on and offline with the goal to have 365 presence in the market

  • Planning is essential as its fast moving. Being prepared to prioritise and reprioritise is essential as our market is very dynamic
  • Optimising content for SEO
  • Briefing & critically evaluating design
  • Analysing the outcomes using digital platforms including GA4, Hootsuit,
  • Planning and execution of social media campaigns
  • Experience of setting up Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/LinkedIn/WhatsApp campaigns
  • Producing Industry White Papers & Webinar content
