The role:


  • Working within a team of 3 you will maintain quality control within the manufacturing process
  • Working to
    AS9100 and ISO9001:
  • Inspection and verification of parts at all stages within business.
  • Use of hand measuring tools such as
    verniers and callipers:
  • Use of
    Optical light measuring equipment:
-
First article inspection reporting.

  • Nonconformance process, both supplier and customer.
  • Root cause analysis and resolution, including rework of parts.
  • Work as part of team to achieve quality and production targets.
  • Support process of building quality into the manufacturing cycle.
  • Approve signatory for release of related quality processes.

What's required:


  • Must have experienced gained within an aerospace company.
  • Experience of a quality control is essential
  • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

FAIR's experience is ideal.

  • Working to ISO 9001 is essential AS9100 preferred.
  • Attention to detail and good numeracy skills are required
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.
  • Good communications and computer literacy with a
    working knowledge of excel.
  • Must be willing to learn new skills, including programming of Laser Measuring Machine.
