THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to work for our client based in Washington. This is an opportunity to work for a true global organisation who specialise in producing high volume manufactured parts. The business placesquality and H&S at the forefront of the business.
This is an excellent role with future progression opportunities. The main job purpose is to lead teams to optimise Quality, Cost and Delivery within a safe working environment

THE ROLE
Delivering work allocation and leading a team towards the achievement of production based KPI's
Aiding continuous improvements and driving quality improvements
Meeting production-based targets
Delivering appraisals and training plans - monitoring and developing employee training

THE PERSON
Experienced working within a high volume, manufacturing environment
Experienced working within a continuous improvement culture
Experienced working lean manufacturing techniques
Proven leadership experience
Strong computer literacy Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Confident, flexible, relatable and driven nature
Must have at least 5 years Production Supervisory experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

THE PACKAGE
This is a permanent role from day one, centring on a 39-hour week.
The hours of work are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am
The basic salary is £31K-£33k (12% 2 shift £34,720 - £36,960 & 18% 3 shift £36,580 - £38,940)
