LEO Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an office assistant to be based at premises at Brookfield Primary Academy.
School office roles are varied and involve contributing to a number of tasks in a busy office environment.
They are frontline roles which require excellent customer service skills and an ability to relate well with pupils across the primary age range as well as adult colleagues.
You will need to be a committed team player, supporting the effective delivery of administrative functions to both the school and the Trust.
In this environment you will need to be hands-on, flexible and proactive with a positive and 'can-do' attitude.
You will be a resilient individual with the ability to work under pressure and be able to meet conflicting deadlines.
You may have experience working in a school, but this is not essential as we recognise the strengths developed through different working backgrounds.
LEO Academy Trust runs its administration services centrally. As such, there will be a two-way supportive relationship between the central team and the school office that you will support.
A knowledge of Arbor and the google suite of programmes would be helpful but not essential as full training can be given.
However, you will need the ability to quickly pick up new skills, and have a good understanding of IT systems.
You will:
- Have experience of working in a busy office environment
- Have successfully worked within a team and be able to build excellent working relationships
We also work with a range of partners to offer accessible training for all staff including e-learning, a CPD app and face to face workshops.
We believe in the importance of succession planning, and that we are well placed to support you in your next challenge.
We offer opportunities to work across different academies within the Trust, and a commitment to promotion opportunities, encouraging 'home grown' talent.
Informal conversations are welcomed and visits to our academies are highly encouraged. Please contact the school directly to arrange.Reasonable adjustments
