Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Roadworker, you'll be working within the Kier Highways team, supporting them in keeping over 27,000km of roads flowing across the UK.
Your day to day will include:
- Working as part of a team responsible for the maintenance and construction of roads, footways, drainage, and surfacing.
- Placing and spreading stone/concrete as well as using horticultural tools
- Operating and maintaining light plant machinery including breakers, rollers, and disc cutters
You will also study for a
Level 2 Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative qualification with support from our experienced teams - giving you the practical skills and expertise to excel in your career.
