Homecare Solutions Ltd is a domiciliary Home care agency that provides care for the elderly in their homes.

We are looking for an experienced CARE CO ORDINATER to oversea our clients in ECCLES M30, WEAST & WORSLEY

Main Duties

  • Prepare staff rotas for your geographical patch and ensure rotas are covered properly. We currently use CARE Planner to do our rotas.
  • Liaising with other care professionals, social workers, and staff in creating person centred care plans.
  • Conduct care worker spot checks and supervision
  • Delivering personal care and support at a senior level
  • Take part in Shadowing/Training new care support workers
  • Conduct care plan reviews and risk assessment with senior managers.
  • Complete various Admin and HR tasks in relation to the delivery of care instructed by the Manager.
; Take part in recruitment and training.

  • Responds to emergencies and provide guidance and support to care workers
  • The willingness to work hours according to the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays
  • Take Part in the oncall rota additional supplement paid on top of salary.

Person Specification

  • A relevant professional qualification is essential must have NVQ 2 and working towards their NVQ 3 In Health and Social Care is essential. Desirable NVQ 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years Experience of working as a care co ordinator or Office Care setting.
  • Good organisation and computer skills.
  • Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans.
  • Good knowledge of care policies and practices and awareness of CQC
requirements.

  • An even temper and professional attitude and be able to work well under pressure and taker constructive criticism as an aid to their development.
  • Ability to lead a team

- Essential to have a full driving license and car.

Previous experience as a care co coordinator is a must. We do not have the capacity to do on the job training.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
