WTW have an opportunity for a Senior Records and Information Management (RIM) practitioner who will be operating at a global level, responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a global records management program.

You will be a senior member of the team of RIM professionals located across the globe.


Providing guidance, critique, and support to all lines of business and all levels of across 150 countries in RIM remediation initiatives.

At this level, the RIM Associate Director plays a leading role in RIM projects, drawing on broad experience of knowledge of Information Management lifecycle initiatives.

Experience of working in partnership with Legal, Data Privacy, Cyber and Information Security, Enterprise, Risk and Compliance, Technology and business stakeholders is vital for this role.

Experience of working with on and offshore stakeholders in a multi-vendor environment is also required.


The RIM Associate Director will have to review compliance status of the RIM program through a variety of workstreams and projects aiming to ensure the main principles of information categorization and lifecycle, retention, legal hold management and disposition are effectively implemented across a large diverse company.


Operating at an executive level, advising, and partnering with organizational executive management and business key stakeholders, assessing risk based on the specifics of the regulatory environment.

Developing program roadmaps and framework including risk, control, compliance assessment, designing implementation strategy, building data remediation plans, answering auditors, regulators and client enquiries, and giving enterprise direction to RIM program staff and program users.

This role reports to the Global Director of Records and Information Management.


The Role

  • Assist in ensuring foundations of the Records and Information Management program are uptodate and aligned with company strategies by actively partnering with Legal, Data Privacy, Cyber and Information Security, Enterprise, Risk and Compliance, Technology, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic input to achieve successful operation of the enterprisewide RIM program.
  • Assist in reviewing RIM program effectiveness by setting benchmarks and evaluating program performance.
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of organizational RIM compliance management strategies and enforce approved corrective actions
  • Align with and direct Data Privacy initiatives with an appropriate breach notification process.
  • Collaborate with the leaders of functional groups within the organization to plan, develop, and provide support for RIM focus within the disaster preparedness and business continuity program.
  • Champion RIM program within the organization to heighten awareness and position the function as a key business resource by establishing credibility, integrity, and executive presence.
  • Instil the importance of organizational ethical conduct by setting an example of ethical behaviour to protect informational assets.

Leadership

  • Contribute in ensuring we have a diverse team and a positive culture of inclusion.
  • A strong understanding of record keeping, privacy and information security laws and regulations, industry best practices, is necessary to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business.
  • Driving initiatives to enable the destruction of records and information in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Lead development of metrics and develop simple repeatable process to produce them on regular cadence.
  • Coordinate and drive presentations to all audiences.

The Requirements

  • Extensive business management experience in a complex, financial / Insurance, or professional services organization.
  • Extensive experience working in a Records and Information Management (RIM) or Privacy related role.
  • Hold one or more RIM or Data Governance/Privacy industry certifications such as: ICRM, IGP, CRM, or RIM.
  • Strong RIM / Privacy practice and technology experience and knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of RIM and Privacy related issues, infrastructure and systems.
  • Understanding and familiarity with various RIM industry standards (ISO 22957, ISO 18829, ISO 15801, ISO 15489, ISO 30300 series, etc.).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fastpaced environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
  • Strong influencing, analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and demonstrated leadership skills.
