Permanent (Full Time)


Hours: 40 Hours per week


Location:
Atlas Business Park, Pacific House, Simonsway, Wythenshawe, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England, M22 5PR

  • Provide Governance and Commercial rigor on spend & suppliers including, Management of delivery against KPI's
  • Review of Consolidated Application for Payment process with Key Suppliers
  • Working alongside the wider Supply Chain team team to implement governance and control with our Key suppliers

Main Duties

  • Identify any issues and resolve ensuring cost management of all jobs is enforced and jobs are not run at a loss or over the approved amount.
  • Dealing with suppliers queries
  • Understanding and identifying patterns of low adherence to process and acting as the front line escalation to suppliers
  • Tracking and monitoring live suppliers, volumes and timeframes for process
  • Liasing with the business to resolve disputes
  • Manage day to day contractor KPI adherence
  • Manage day to day escalations relating to Invoice approval
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management to diverse priorities
  • Demonstrate a high level of employee performance to ensure values and targets are met
  • Ensure practises and processes are continually being improved upon
  • Ensure the provider payment process is completed timely and accurately for providers

What we are looking for:


  • Proficient excel skills and systems knowledge (Maximo, Oracle and MS Office)
  • Proactive approach to innovation and problem solving
  • Confident to lead on difficult conversations with suppliers and the business
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced environment and ability to prioritise a changing workload and use initiative
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Sustain enthusiasm, have strong analytical skills and an ability to understand and help solve complex issues
  • Excellent communication is essential as well as sound stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Must have ability to effectively input in meetings and adapt to a diverse job role
  • Elevated level of integrity with a commitment to embedding a strong governance culture
  • Able to produce concise and informative reporting under tight deadlines
  • A team player but able to work under own initiative and escalate as necessary.
