Bailey Care Services are a recruitment agency, specialising in providing temporary work to social care sector staff (HCAs, carers, support workers etc) across Dorset.

We are a small, friendly team that is dedicated to finding you the assignments that workfor you.

Our clients range from residential homes to assisted living sites, from reablement facilities to hospital wards. We are offering Waking Nights, Long Days, Earlies, Lates, Twilights and Weekend shifts.

We are currently expanding and looking to recruit experienced Health Care Assistants, Domiciliary Carers, Support Workers and Care Workers.


Duties May Include:


  • Providing support to achieve preferred lifestyles and ambitions by following a personcentred support plan
  • Promoting independence
  • Maintain accurate and complete records
  • Provide support with sports activities, shopping, travel, social events, and any other independent task
  • Assisting with personal care: including toileting, dressing, bathing
  • Helping with Skin Care
  • Safeguarding
  • Assisting with moving and lifting

You'll play such an important role in the everyday activities and needs of the people you work with. People skills, attention to detail, respect forthe past and hopes for the future. These are the qualities that we look for in all our social care staff.

  • The ability to write accurate and factual records
  • An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people
  • An understanding of promoting independence and human rights
  • The ability to support people while upholding dignity and respect
  • Knowledge of abuse and its indicators
  • An understanding of care plans and risk assessments
  • Dependable punctuality
  • A willingness to travel to different locations from daytoday or week to week as required
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in care
