Principal Research Scientist responsibilities

Team leadership working closely with a team of up to 16 Scientists. Guiding, motivating, and pushing for results.
Communication with potential customers, investors, and partners.
Identification and implementation of ISO 900
H&S focus.

Principal Research Scientist requirements

Excellent academic track record minimum degree level qualification (PhD preferred) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related.
Industry experience is essential. Your experience gained to date must include operating at a Senior level such as Principal Scientist/Head of Science/Senior Scientist.
R&D exposure in energy storage, supercapacitor, batteries or similar.
Experience with patent processes for science.
Experience in developing partnerships within energy storage, supercapacitor, battery or similar environment.
Excellent presentation skills, able to introduce new technology solutions to potential customers, investors, partners, and employees.
A natural leader and motivator.
Experience in identifying and implementing appropriate industry standards eg ISO 900
Have a high regard for health and safety and for appropriate housekeeping.

Package details
£65k-100k depending upon experience and level.
