As we continue to expand, we're seeking a meticulous and proactive Warehouse Assistant to oversee the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse operations.


Position Overview:


As the Warehouse Assistant, you will be at the heart of our warehouse operations, responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining stringent quality control measures to ensure that only the highest standard of products reaches our customers.

Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory systems, supporting stock management activities, and handling supplier returns efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments of workwear and related products, conducting thorough quality control inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Accurately record all received items in our inventory system, verifying quantities and updating stock levels accordingly.
  • Organise and manage the storage of goods within the warehouse, optimising space and ensuring easy accessibility for picking and packing.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments of goods, picking items according to customer orders and packaging them securely for dispatch.
  • Conduct final quality checks on outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing and production teams to address any quality issues or discrepancies with incoming shipments.
  • Support stock management activities, including stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and replenishment planning.
  • Process supplier returns efficiently, documenting reasons for return and coordinating with purchasing to facilitate replacements or refunds.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the warehouse, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse role is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
