Supervisor Retail:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the UK's leading Equestrian Retailers for a highly motivated person who is looking to change or develop their retail career.
You will be managing, alongside the Store Manager, a motivated and hardworking team dedicated to providing excellent customer service and ensuring our customers receive the best possible shopping experience whilst in our store.
Day-to-day you will ensure the successful running of the store, maintain high standards of service and operations and maximise sales and product efficiency.
As a key member of the team you will be dedicated to ensuring the long-term success of Naylors in collaboration with the Store Managers and other members of the management team.
BackgroundRole & Responsibilities
- Assist the store manager with the daytoday running of the store.
- Fielding queries from Retail Assistants and managing their work load.
- Performing quality control on work completed by Retail Assistants.
- Assessing and processing returned products.
- Handling customer queries and concerns.
- Stock room management.
- End of day processes such as cashingup the tills with accuracy.
- Ensure the continued smooth operation of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Key holder responsibilities to include opening and closing the store.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Approaching and assisting customers.
- Advising on a range of equestrian products.
- Assisting with the fitting of safety equipment such as riding hats.
- Working on the cash desk.
- Going the extra mile to achieve sales whilst maintaining customer satisfaction and an excellent shopping experience.
- Stock management.
- Checking off inbound stock from suppliers.
- Labelling stock with barcodes.
- Stock counting.
- Shop floor replenishment.
- Web order processing.
- Order picking.
- Other retail duties.
- Taking telephone calls.
- Contacting suppliers.
- Taking telephone orders from customers.
- Cleaning.
- Maintaining shop floor standards.
- Maintaining back of house standards.

- Equestrianrelated qualifications is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in an equestrian discipline is advantageous but not essential.
