Role based on the North of England, with location in major Northern City, such as Manchester, Sheffield or Leeds.


Role Overview:

As an Evacuation Chair Maintenance and Training Sales Engineer, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell evacuation chairs, conduct training sessions, and ensure proper maintenance and support for these life-saving devices.

You will work closely with clients, safety managers, and facility owners to assess their evacuation needs, provide tailored solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Your expertise in evacuation chair maintenance and training will play a crucial role in helping organizations enhance their emergency preparedness and ensure the safety of their occupants.


Key Responsibilities:


Evacuation Chair Maintenance:
Coordinate and perform regular maintenance checks on evacuation chairs.
Identify and address any issues or malfunctions promptly to ensure optimal chair performance.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to source spare parts and accessories.


Evacuation Chair Training:
Conduct comprehensive training sessions for clients on the proper use of evacuation chairs.
Develop training materials and resources, including user manuals and instructional videos.
Ensure that clients' staff and safety personnel are proficient in operating evacuation chairs safely and efficiently.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to evacuation procedures.


Sales and Business Development:
Identify potential clients and target markets for evacuation chairs.
Generate leads, conduct product demonstrations, and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
Collaborate with the sales team to create effective marketing strategies and sales campaigns.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.


Customer Support:
Provide ongoing technical support and assistance to clients regarding evacuation chairs.
Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions in a timely manner.
Handle customer complaints and warranty claims professionally and efficiently.


Product Knowledge and Training Improvement:
Stay informed about the latest developments in evacuation chair technology and safety standards.
Continuously update training materials and improve training methodologies.
Participate in workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance industry knowledge.


Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, training sessions, and maintenance tasks.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, training outcomes, and maintenance metrics for management.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience with a focus on technical products, preferably in safety or emergency equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of evacuation chair technology, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing highquality customer service.
  • Problemsolving and troubleshooting skills for addressing maintenance and technical issues.
  • Time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Note:
This role may require travel to customer sites for sales visits, training sessions, and maintenance support. Training and certifications related to emergency response and evacuation procedures would be advantageous in this position.


Salary:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
