Salary:
£18,000 -£23,000 per annum depending on experience, to be reviewed after successful completion of probation.


Hours of Work:
Office hours are 0700hrs - 1600hrs Mon

  • Fri, with some additional work as required by the needs of the business.

About the Company:

KPM services is a division of Armac Shipping Services. They are a UK based shipping specialist offering a range of logístical services including freight forwarding and customs clearance. Due to an expansion in the business a new role has been created.


The role holder will be part of a dedicated and friendly team responsible for providing a service to our Principals ensuring efficient shipment of both import and export cargo.

The role will be customer focused, so we are looking for somebody with confident and clear communication skills, comfortable speaking to people at all levels of a business.

You will be responsible for fielding enquiries, compiling quotes as well as coordinating a range of import and export services.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Offering a qualitydriven forwarding service to all customers.
  • Responsibility for organising import and export clearances.
  • Liaison with clients and logistics services on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that services are booked promptly
  • Accurate recording and reporting of information pertaining to forwarding jobs
  • Ensure both internal and external procedures are followed

Role Requirements:


  • Eligibility to work in the UK, without sponsorship
  • Full, valid, clean driving license
  • Previous experience within a similar role is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Effective timemanagement and the ability to manage own workload
  • Competent user of the Microsoft Office programs.
