Housing Officer
Bridge-It Housing provides housing and support to families, single males and females.

Housing Officer will work closely with other employees across the business to ensure a consistent Bridge-It Housing approach is taken to our properties
- Completing paperwork relating to Property Spot checks, including:
- Cleanliness of house
- Breakages
- Inventory forms
- Facilitating clients to clean houses themselves (such as cleaning days with clients)
- Working with Team Leader to ensure correct property items are readily available
- Updating company maintenance reporting system, checking completion of jobs
- Liaise with maintenance, management, and support worker to build effective relationships
- Checking properties for compliance with property standards including:
- Cleaning
- Items available
- Decorating
- Maintenance
- Checking and ensuring correct information is on notice boards, updating where necessary
- Working with house captains, and support at house meetings
- Completing meter reads/ reporting meter reads and updating spreadsheets
- Testing fire alarms and completing paperwork relating to compliance
- Assisting with room vacations to turn around rooms in a timely manner
- Maintaining the exterior of the property with a focus on gardens and bin management
- Understanding Housing Multiple Occupancy (HMO) requirements to ensure property compliance
- Clear and concise communication, regular feedback, and seeing things through to completion
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£20,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
